SKOKIE, IL – Fall 2014 – M Burger will soon offer its quick-service, easy-to-navigate menu of juicy Midwestern beef burgers, golden fries and low-fat ice cream in Skokie, IL. Set to open this fall in the newly constructed Touhy Marketplace at 3654 W. Touhy Avenue (at N. Lawndale Avenue), M Burger is perfect for lunch, an afternoon snack or dinner.
The new location, the first outside downtown Chicago (where there are four locations), will be equipped with a drive-through window, a first for any LEYE restaurant, as well as a larger outdoor seating area for warm-weather gathering and dining. Hand-dipped hard shell ice cream cones will be offered alongside a sundae bar filled with a variety of toppings to choose from.
The idea behind M Burger is a simple one. The first location was an easy, walk-up burger joint, carved out the kitchen of Streeterville’s acclaimed Tru, in what was once that restaurant’s chef’s table and pastry kitchen. Because real estate for the new concept was at a premium, with space available for only a griddle, a fryer and a shake machine, Chef Tim Hockett devised a small, easy-to-navigate menu offering less than ten items. The goal of each M Burger has always been the same: to be your neighborhood spot serving great burgers and sandwiches, with friendly, personable service.
M Burger Skokie is located at 3654 W. Touhy Avenue. For more information, visit us at www.mburgerchicago.com.
