Neighborhood grab-and-go market, salad bar, pizza counter and lounge opens at DePaul University Loop Campus

This spring, Beatrix Market will open its second stand-alone location in the Loop (23 E. Jackson Blvd) and will be the fourth of its kind in Chicago. The concept was created by Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners John Chiakulas and Janet Kirker.

The grab-and-go market experience originated in Streeterville in 2015 as a part of Beatrix, the neighborhood coffeehouse and restaurant, and features large self-serve salad, soup and hot food bars, rotating chef-prepared salads, sandwiches and snacks. Beatrix Market DePaul will also include the Beatrix coffee bar and bakery showcasing house-made pastries and coffee from Chicago roasters, Intelligentsia and Metric Coffee.

New to this location will be a full-service bar and lounge featuring local craft beers, spirits and wines, a pizza counter serving pizza by the slice, and individual deep dish pizzas, and a private dining room accommodating up to 16 guests.

Beatrix Market DePaul will be open for breakfast, lunch and cocktails Monday-Friday from 7:00am-7:00pm and will offer delivery and catering packages. Beatrix Market will be located at 23 E. Jackson Blvd. For more information, please visit BeatrixRestaurants.com, follow us on Instagram and Twitter at @BeatrixMarket, and be sure to like us on Facebook.
