WHAT: Bub City’s third annual Windy City Smokeout returns this weekend from Friday, July 10 – Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 560 W. Grand St. (Grand Street and the Chicago River) in downtown Chicago. More than 30,000 guests are expected to attend the festival, tasting BBQ offerings and craft beer from around the country and enjoying an impressive lineup of live country music. THE FOOD: Backyard offerings will be served up by the best pitmasters and BBQ joints from around the country, including three-time BBQ World Champion Myron Mixon, New York-based Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Pappy’s Smokehouse from St. Louis and The Salt Lick hailing from Driftwood, TX, plus local favorites including SmoqueLillie’s Q, Chicago Q, and Bub City.

THE MUSIC: Music headliners include Grammy award winner Kacey Musgraves, Grammy-nominated Pat Green, ACM Breakthrough Artist of the Year Chris Young, ACM ‘Single Record of the Year’ Lee Brice, as well as Dan + Shay, Will Hoge, Chris Stapleton and more.

THE BEER: Brewers from across the country will offer a wide selection of rare craft beer including special limited-edition drafts created for Windy City Smokeout.  Participating breweries include Founders, Goose Island, Local Option, Against the Grain, Moody Tongue, 18th Street and more.

NEW THIS YEAR: This year, Adam Richman, host of Travel Channel’s Man v. Food will be on hand all weekend and will host a special brunch on Sunday, July 12. Many new events join the festival including an Amateur Rib Competition, two Whole Hog Dinners and a Ribs & Revolution Dinner, all hosted by Myron Mixon; a Craft Beer Release Party and Jack Daniel’s Distillery Tasting.  Windy City Smokeout will also provide a lounge & recreation area where guests will find offerings from The Market at Summer House, Crave Bar, Doughnut Vault, Supreme Lobster, La Colombe and Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken.
